Alpha Wireless has been selected to assist rural broadband operator and Ericsson distribution partner Xtreme LTE in delivering solutions for the Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS).
With over a decade 3.5GHz spectrum experience, Alpha Wireless is a natural partner for US operators looking for antenna solutions for CBRS applications.
Director of Sales for US WISP Markets Cameron Kilton says Alpha Wireless is excited to be working with Xtreme LTE and to have the opportunity to demonstrate its capabilities in this spectrum.
“Xtreme LTE is currently purchasing the AW3161-E and our Low-PIM coax jumpers and we’re looking forward to seeing how we can assist them further in the future. As an Ericsson strategic partner, we anticipate large growth for carrier grade solutions with Alpha Wireless.”
Xtreme Enterprises is focused on assisting the WISP industry in obtaining and deploying Ericsson’s carrier-class LTE equipment. With Ericsson equipment, WISPs will be able to reach more customers with higher speeds.
Xtreme LTE also says its excited about the growing relationship, noting Alpha Wireless’ commitment to creating discreet solutions as a joint priority for both companies.

More broadly, Kilton says the partnership will also give Alpha Wireless the chance to showcase its ability to deliver for CBRS.
