The AW3843 is an eight-port dual band panel antenna with a 33° horizontal beamwidth that covers the 2300 – 2700 MHz and 3400 – 3800 MHz frequency bands. This antenna is designed to have a narrow 33° azimuth beamwidth and 25 dB azimuth sidelobe suppression to target a specific sector with minimal interference. The focused beam allows for increased site sectorization and increased capacity. The AW3843 sector panel antenna combines both 2.5GHz and 3.5GHz frequency bands in one compact radome, reducing antenna count on the tower without sacrificing RF performance. The antenna is designed to have equally high performance in both bands and delivers a high 20 dBi gain across all ports.
The AW3843 allows adjustment of the elevation beam with enclosed remote electrical tilt (eRET). Electrical tilt adjustment enables network optimisation without the need to adjust the mounting brackets. With over 18 dB of upper side lobe suppression, the AW3843 enables throughput and coverage to be optimized through accurate adjustments of the downtilt. Remote electrical tilt adjustment can enable elevation tilt adjustment over an IP Network located at the tower or offsite.
The AW3843 provides narrow-angle sectorized coverage for 4G and 5G private networks using the 2.5GHz S-band, Broadband Radio Service (BRS), and Education Broadband Service (EBS) spectrums and 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) and C-band spectrum. This antenna supports LTE Bands 41, 42, 43, and 48 and 5G NR bands n7, n41, n77, and n78.
