Description

The AW3883 is an eight-port dual band panel antenna that provides four ports for 1710 – 2690 MHz and four ports for 3400 – 3800 MHz. This 65° sector panel antenna allows 4×4 MIMO in both bands but with one compact radome, reducing tower loading without sacrificing RF performance. The AW3883 provides 16 dB of upper side lobe suppression to eliminate interference in 4G and 5G networks. This antenna is designed to function as two physically separated single band antennas but instead allows co-location in one radome without increasing isolation between both bands.

The AW3883 comes with enclosed remote electrical tilt (eRET). Electrical tilt adjustment enables network optimisation without the need to adjust the mounting brackets. Throughput and coverage can be optimized through accurate adjustments of the downtilt to put the signal where it is needed. Remote electrical tilt adjustment can enable elevation tilt adjustment over an IP Network located at the tower or offsite.

The dual band AW3883 provides a single antenna platform that supports 2×2 MIMO and 4×4 MIMO for 2.5GHz BRS, AWS, PCS, and 3.5 GHz CBRS deployments.
